Ms Judy Daniel, L.E.C

Ms. Daniel was admitted to practice law in T&T in 1983. She accomplished her post-graduate work in environmental law and management at Tufts University, Boston USA. Ms. Daniel has extensive experience working on environmental regulations, policy and auditing in the Caribbean.
She has held principal policy-making positions for the International Maritime Organisation/World Bank, the Ministries of Environment and Agriculture, Lands and Marine Resources of Trinidad & Tobago and has served as the CARICOM legal negotiator for the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development.
Through her legal practice, Judy brings an unparalleled strong working knowledge of the legal and institutional frameworks, politics, society, key actors and civic groups in the Caribbean and a proven talent to work effectively in cross-cultural situations. Her unique combination of strong legal and technical skills has earned her high esteem by senior managers both in the Wider Caribbean region and internationally. Ms. Daniel is an ISO 14001, 14011, 14012 Lead Auditor, Environmental Management Systems (2001, Missisauga, Canada). She is a Fulbright Fellow and was a Peer Review Board Member (2003-4). Later in 2005 she obtained mediation training at the Atlanta Justice Center and is a trained mediator. She completed an International Water Law Certificate, University of Dundee, Scotland in 2012.
