International Day of Education is a UN General Assembly proclamation celebrating the role of education for peace and development.
The third International Day of Education will be observed on Monday 25th January 2021 under the theme ‘Recover and Revitalize Education for the COVID-19 Generation’. Courtesy of the Public Education Unit of the Environmental Management Authority as the EMA celebrates 25 years of national service.
- The EMA has been involved in environmental education throughout its history. As we celebrate International Day of Education, we look back on the many unique interactions we have had over the years.
- Education does not only occur in a classroom. Interacting with our environment, we gain a panoramic view of life.
- Learning never stops and each day is a gift to interact with our environment and one another in new ways.
