Nova Johnson is a senior executive with over a decade of specialized expertise in Industrial Relations. Her career reflects a deep commitment to institutional reform, strategic workforce planning, and ethical labour relations. Ms. Johnson has spearheaded grievance resolution across multiple unions, provided strategic counsel for industrial relations matters before the Ministry of Labour, Industrial Court and Equal Opportunity Commission and aligned organizational practices with international labour standards. Her strategic expertise spans collective bargaining, organizational restructuring and policy development, with a strong emphasis on ethical leadership and transparent decision-making.
Accordingly, she brings to the EMA Board a deep understanding of industrial relations. In addition, her background in strategic planning, international HRM and dispute resolution equips her to support the Authority’s mandate in environmental stewardship and public accountability. With an MBA in Human Resource Management, she is poised to contribute to the EMA’s vision of balancing development with ecological integrity, ensuring that environmental management is both people-centered and policy-driven.
