Mr. Keydell Kerr is a dedicated environmental advocate whose career reflects a deep commitment to sustainability, governance and environmental management in Trinidad and Tobago. His journey in environmental stewardship began over a decade ago as an Environmental Management Authority (EMA) Youth Ambassador in 2012, progressing to roles such as Member of the EMA Clearinghouse Committee and now Director on the Board of the EMA. His academic grounding includes an MBA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, a BSc. in Environmental and Natural Resource Management and Tropical Landscaping, and specialized training in Corporate Governance and Sustainable Practices.

Beyond his environmental portfolio, Mr. Kerr is recognized for his wider contributions to public administration and socioeconomic development within Tobago. He serves as Adviser to the Secretary of Food Security, Natural Resources, the Environment and Sustainable Development in the Tobago House of Assembly (THA), where he plays a central role in advancing agricultural and environmental infrastructure programmes such as the Mega-Farming Development Programme, Friendship Agro-Parks(Concept) and watershed rehabilitation. His leadership extends to several statutory bodies including National Agricultural Marketing and Development Corporation (NAMDEVCO) and Milford Road Esplanade Limited (MREL) where he provided strategic oversight, ensured proper governance and accountability, and guided policy and operational decisions.

Grounded in integrity, faith and service, Mr. Kerr approaches national development with a philosophy that sustainability must be inclusive, community-centered and future-focused. Guided by God’s continuous grace, he remains committed to strengthening environmental protection, shaping resilient institutions and contributing to a greener, more sustainable Trinidad and Tobago.
