The Environmental Management Authority (EMA) recently concluded its 2025 Vacation Internship Programme, providing thirteen university students with an opportunity to gain valuable work experience with the Authority from June to August 2025.
Over the course of the three-month internship, participants had the opportunity to gain practical, hands-on experience within the Authority’s operations and enhance their understanding of sustainability and environmental stewardship. The programme allowed interns to broaden their knowledge and develop critical skills by working alongside professionals across various EMA units, including Finance, Procurement, Quality Management, Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), Permitting, Projects, Information Technology, Economics, Corporate Communications and Legal Services.
