The Environmental Management Authority’s (EMA) Chairman, Mr. Doolar Ramlal and his team recently conducted a site visit and stakeholder engagement on 6 April 2026, with the Chairman of the Urban Development Corporation of Trinidad and Tobago (UDeCOTT), Mr. Shankar Bidaisee, and members of UDeCOTT’s project team at the proposed site for a multi‑family residential development along Lady Hailes Avenue.
The development forms part of the wider San Fernando Redevelopment Project. Discussions focused on UDeCOTT’s application for a Certificate of Environmental Clearance (CEC No. 6226/2021), which was submitted to the EMA on 15 April 2021 and subsequently required further information.
