Media Release – EMA and THA Strengthen Collaboration on Sustainable Development and Environmental Management in Tobago

The Environmental Management Authority (EMA) and the Tobago House of Assembly (THA) continue to
strengthen their partnership through ongoing discussions focused on sustainable development and key
environmental priorities for Tobago.

Chairman of the EMA, Mr. Doolar Ramlal, along with members of the Authority’s Board of Directors,
including Deputy Chairman Ms. Neeala Mongroo and Directors Dr. Steve Rajpatty, Ms. Nova Johnson, Mr.
Kadeem Williams and Mr. Keydell Kerr, recently met with the Honourable Farley Augustine, Chief Secretary
of the THA. The Chief Secretary was accompanied by senior THA officials, including the Honourable Darren
Henry, Secretary of the Division of Environment, Climate Resilience and Energy; Mr. Linford Beckles, Senior
Director, Department of the Environment; and Ms. Damika Marshall, Director of Environmental Management.
Also present were Gillian Stanislaus, Assistant Manager – Tobago, EMA, and representatives from the Water
and Sewerage Authority (WASA).
