British High Commission supports Trinidad and Tobago’s Climate Change efforts.

Trinidad and Tobago is pioneering transparency activities in climate change mitigation and adaptation in the Caribbean with the Global Environment Facility (GEF) funded Capacity Building Initiative for Transparency (CBIT) and the Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) System. The EMA is honoured to be a pivotal player in this project as the Executing Agency and to have received support from the United Kingdom to assist with climate change initiatives
