Trinidad and Tobago has been blessed with a diverse landscape that offers us a variety of agricultural produce. Watermelon, mangoes, oranges, pineapples, cocoa, and a host of other local produce and livestock make up some of the agricultural diversity of our islands.

Even within one species, such as peppers, there is diversity,for example, the Seven Pot Pepper,Congo Pepper, Pimento Pepper and Bird Pepper. This month, reflect on the food we eat and appreciate that it is as diverse as our people.
